Changing your mind
For most goods bought online, consumers may cancel without giving a reason from the time the order is placed until 14 days after receiving the goods. Please tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them. Please take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession. We may reduce a refund to reflect handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions
The statutory change-of-mind right may not apply to personalised or made-to-order goods, sealed software once unsealed, sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, or digital content supplied after the required express consent and acknowledgement. Any relevant exception will be made clear before purchase.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Consumers normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods. After that period, the law may provide a repair or replacement and, where appropriate, a price reduction or final right to reject. Your statutory rights are not restricted by this policy.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and normally within 14 days of receiving returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back. Original standard delivery charges are refunded where required by law; additional costs for an enhanced delivery method are not normally refundable.
How to request a return
Email support@thetechsurgery.co.uk or call 0191 427 0857 with your order number, item and reason for return. Do not send goods until we have supplied the correct return instructions.
